Hello, dear reader!
This is the first, official post created by the Jean Kim Foundation as part of our ongoing development of our online presence– welcome! We are so happy to have you visit our website.
As you may know, the mission of the Jean Kim Foundation is:
[The Foundation’s goal] is to reduce poverty and homelessness by motivating, supporting, and guiding adult homeless students as they successfully earn degrees, certifications, and vocational skills that will empower them to obtain better earning power, full-time employment, and stable housing.
With that said, what the Jean Kim Foundation aims to do is empower adults experiencing homelessness to find a pathway to success through education. However, we work with our individuals using wraparound case management so that we can address any topics that might cause barriers to education–housing, substance use, mental illness, and basic necessities.
If you would like to learn more about what we do, please visit our About page; if you are interested in supporting us in any way, please visit our Get Involved page; and lastly, if you are interested in connecting with us please visit our Contact page! Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to working with you to end cycles of homelessness.
